Ghost Killing
Live computer simulation
2022

GHOST KILLING, a live computer simulation, presents the similarity between the power structures of drones on battlefields and the platform industries utilizing AI in the capitalist market. A drone, trained by machine learning, bombards delivery workers' vehicles preventing them from reaching their destination. Each time an Amazon truck arrives at the destination, transcripts of cockpit and radio conversations recorded from a drone strike in Afghanistan killing civilians are released. The consequences of emerging automated systems to human labor are still unknown. VIewers are exposed to the unfair battle between those with capital and technology and those without it.
